WE WANT YOUR FEEDBACK!

The Ventura County Farmworker Housing Study and Action Plan is a collaborative, countywide effort launched by the County of Ventura in partnership with House Farm Workers!, designed to understand and address the urgent housing needs of the county’s farmworker community.

The project team has conducted extensive outreach, including employer and farmworker surveys, stakeholder interviews, and focus groups, gathering data on both challenges and opportunities for improving conditions for farmworkers.

The County and House Farm Workers! are now requesting input on the Public Review Draft of the Farmworker Housing “Research Report” and “Action Plan”. Feedback received on these documents will be incorporated into a Final Research Report and Action Plan, and presented to the County Board of Supervisors and various City Council(s), starting Fall 2026.

Comments may be provided on both documents until June 22, 2026. View both documents and learn more information at the Farmworker Study and Action Plan webpage.

This effort is funded by the Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) through the Sustainable Communities Program – Civic Engagement, Equity, and Environmental Justice (SCP CEEEJ).
