Flyer for the Building and Safety Division Informational Workshop on Building Permit Streamlining, detailing new processes starting March 1, 2026, and workshop on March 4, 2026, at Ventura County Government Center.

The Building and Safety Division is launching a new Agency Clearance process designed to streamline building permit applications.

Beginning March 1, 2026, new permit applications will no longer require customers to visit multiple agencies to obtain clearances in most cases. Instead, County agencies will coordinate reviews internally through our new Agency Clearance process.

This means fewer steps for customers, clearer communication, and faster permit processing.

Join us for a workshop to learn how the new process works and what to expect when applying for your next building permit.

Date: Wednesday, March 4
Time: 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Location: Ventura County Government Center
Hall of Administration, 3rd Floor Multi-Purpose Room
800 S. Victoria Avenue
Ventura, CA 93009
