Negative Declarations
If the Lead Agency finds that the project will not have an impact on the environment, the Lead Agency will prepare a Negative Declaration (ND). A ND is a legal statement that either describes the reasons why a proposed project will not have a significant adverse effects on the environment or that compliance with specific Federal, State, or County regulations would avoid a significant impact and thus does not require an Environmental Impact Report.

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY AND INTENT TO ADOPT A NEGATIVE DECLARATION:
Project Description: The applicant requests a Conditional Use Permit for a 30-year term for the rental and leasing of durable goods and a Planned Development Permit for the construction of a new, approximately 16,938 sq. ft. warehouse building. The sales of durable goods would be allowed as an accessory use to the principal use of renting and leasing durable goods. The proposed project includes the construction of an approximately 267 sq. ft. trash enclosure, the establishment of an approximately 33,870 sq. ft. outside storage and sales area, parking spaces, landscaping, and other accessory structures and equipment. The proposed project would generate 25 new employees and approximately 20 customer and 40 truck trips per day. For any required new water and sewage disposal services, the proposed project would be conditioned to obtain the appropriate approvals from Ventura Water and the Saticoy Sanitary District.
